EasyTech Digital Solutions ("we," "us," "our") operates this website to help British Columbia homeowners understand their property assessment and property tax deferment options, and, where appropriate, connect them with independent property tax professionals. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how it's handled, in accordance with BC's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect
When you use the free assessment check tool or the property tax deferment eligibility checker, the values and details you enter stay in your browser and are not sent to us or stored anywhere unless you choose to submit the referral form described below. No account is required to use either tool. The deferment eligibility checker in particular collects nothing at all, there is no form to submit on that page, and it has no connection to the referral program.
When you submit the referral form on the free assessment check page, we collect:
- Your name and contact information (email, phone)
- Your property address and/or assessment roll number
- Your current and previous assessed values
- A description of your situation, as you provide it
Why we collect it
We collect this information for one purpose: to determine whether your situation looks worth pursuing, and, if you choose to proceed, to introduce you to an independent BC property tax professional who may be able to help.
Who we share it with
If you submit the referral form, your information is shared with the property tax professional(s) currently participating in our referral program, so they can contact you directly about a possible consultation. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond this specific purpose without your separate consent.
Consent
By checking the consent box and submitting the referral form, you agree to this collection, use, and disclosure. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us (see below), though this may mean we're no longer able to refer you.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and only retain it for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose above. Referral form submissions are stored using Cloudflare Workers KV, a secured storage service, and are not publicly accessible. Access is limited to those operating this site.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information (where we're not required to keep it)

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand general visitor traffic. It is cookieless and does not track you individually or across other sites, and it does not include the personal information you submit through the referral form.
